Village Vibes Baby

(pregnancy- babies up to 12 months)

Village Vibes Baby is an all-inclusive take on the traditional Mum's and Bubs Group. We welcome anyone helping to raise a baby 12 months and under. Mum's to be, Dads, Grand Parents, Au Pairs, Nannys are all welcome to join. The weekly networking group is designed to support you on the pregnancy-birth - 12 months journey. Meet other families with babies and our facilitator for cuppa to discuss areas of your baby’s development and talk through common issues parents may be facing. Children from our Village Vibes Baby group often then head onto the Monday Play Group at Coogera and wait listing to enrol in our preschool programs. We invite industry specialists, sharing the latest research on feeding, sleeping, safety and physical development. We share a WhatsApp Group for continued connection and discussions on development. If this is your first time around, or you have other children plus a baby under 12 months and would enjoy weekly socialisation for your infant, and a place for connection please join us.

Village Vibes Playgroup (Under 6)
Our Village Vibes Playgroup has been a popular gathering in our community for over 30 years.Run by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher, it provides access to qualified advice on early childhood development. We also have access to the wonderful team at Shaping Outcomes Early Intervention, who can help with any concerns you may be facing and guide you to the extra services available in our community. Many families who have not yet enrolled in preschool ,enjoy trying play group to familiarise their child with the preschool environment and learning. Come along for a play, bring some snacks (no nuts) and engage in shared stories and music and movement sessions which promote early socialisation for your children.

Village Vibes Inclusion

A parent connection group for familiesraising Neuro Divergent children

Northern Rivers Preschool is committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and well-connected community for all families. In line with this commitment, we are pleased to propose a monthly support and networking group for families parenting neurodivergent children. These sessions will serve as a safe, welcoming space for sharing, learning, and connecting with others who understand the unique joys and challenges of raising neurodivergent children.

The primary aims of this group are to:
  • Provide free, informative sessions to support families navigating neurodiversity.
  • Offer opportunities for connection and mutual support among parents and caregivers.
  • Share expert knowledge, practical strategies, and resources to support children, siblings, parents, extended family
  • and friends to increases positive outcomes for everyone in your child's sphere.
  • Create a strong sense of community inclusion and empowerment.
  • Promote awareness and acceptance of neurodivergence within our wider preschool, transitions to primary school and our Northern Rivers community.
All parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children are welcome, whether currently enrolled in our preschool or part of the wider Northern Rivers community. Educators and allied professionals are also invited to attend and contribute to the conversations.

  • Reduce feelings of isolation through shared experience.
  • Connect with local services and supports.
  • Contribute to an inclusive culture that values every child’s unique strengths.
We invite all interested families to join us for our first session. Village Vibes Outreach
This program is run at home for children who are unable to attend preschool due to medical conditions and exceptional circumstances. It is run by our Village Vibes Outreach Coordinator, who is a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. Northern Rivers Preschool is committed to including and providing preschool for all children, even those who need preschool bought to them at home. These sessions are tailored to the individual child to meet individual developmental needs.
