At NRP, we are committed to upholding and supporting the Child Safe Standards, ensuring that every child is valued, protected, and empowered. Our policies and practices prioritise children’s safety and wellbeing, fostering an environment where they feel respected, heard, and secure. We work closely with families, staff, and the wider community to create a culture of transparency and accountability, aligning with the NSW guidelines to maintain the highest standards of care and protection for every child in our programs.

We have high standards for child safety. We maintain these through:
  • Building strong relationships
  • Always staffing above ratio. We never have less than two staff in the room with a child/children.
  • Hiring highly qualified staff
  • We have a child safe officer
  • Ensuring transparency
  • We have a not-for-profit service model ensuring all funds go directly to support children
  • We place child rights and needs at the centre of all decision making
